A Nacel Open Door Short Term Program

NOD understands that all students have different needs and goals to help them excel, which is why we expanded our Short Term Programs to include customizable options, providing students the option to create their own program. The more students who can make their dreams come true and experience America, the better!

Program Options

Choose from the below options to create a program that is suited to your needs:

College Tours

A tour for students interested in studying at an American university or college. Students tour eight to 10 schools, experience the feeling of campus life and speak to an admissions counselor.

  • Recommended length: One week
  • Student ages: 14-16
  • Group size: 20 students
  • Time frame: October-November and March-April
  • Location: East or West Coast, USA
  • Visa: B-2 Visitor's Visa or Visa Waiver Program Participant Country
  • Accommodation: Hotel

STEM + ESL + Activities

A program for students looking to specifically study STEM and English while experiencing American culture.

  • Recommended length: One month
  • Student ages: 15-17
  • Group size: 10 students and one chaperone
  • Time frame: June-August, dependent on school
  • Location: Determined by school availability
  • Visa: B-2 Visitor's Visa or Visa Waiver Program Participant Country
  • Accommodation: Host family

 

Private School Visit

A program for students interested in enrolling at an American high school. 

  • Recommended length: 10 days
  • Student ages: 14-16
  • Group size: 10 students and one chaperone
  • Time frame: October-November and January-April
  • Visa: B-2 Visitor's Visa or Visa Waiver Program Participant Country
  • Accommodation: Dormitory


 

 

Intensive Study for Credit

A program for students who want to study for a short time at a private American high school. Students earn one school credit, study a second course for enrichment, and participate in local volunteer experiences.

  • Recommended length: One month
  • Student ages: 15-17
  • Group size: 10 students and one chaperone
  • Time frame: June-August, dependent on school
  • Visa: F-1 visa
  • Accommodation: Host family or dormitory
