Congratulations Nacel Open Door Stars, Maria and John Bonse!

Nacel Open Door (NOD) is excited to introduce two of our amazing international student exchange host parents and NOD Stars, Maria and John Bonse, of Poughkepsie, New York! Maria and John are hosting one student this year, Linus from Germany, and in the past have hosted students from Brazil and Spain.

Maria and John have consistently opened their hearts and home to their exchange students. They always provide exceptional experiences to their students, both locally and by traveling throughout the U.S. with their students. They had the opportunity to visit Carla from Spain and Luiza from Brazil in their home countries and were warmly welcomed by their natural families. Maria and John have maintained those relationships, extending their family around the globe.

Maria is also a new Local Representative for NOD, helping us to place international students in her local community. Thank you, Maria and John, for being NOD stars and standout U.S. Ambassadors!
