Congratulations Nacel Open Door Star, Tammy Yost!

Nacel Open Door (NOD) is excited to introduce one of our amazing international student exchange host parents and NOD Stars, Tammy Yost, of Hershey, Pennsylvania!

Tammy Yost has hosted for NOD since 2015 in both our Short Term Program and our Private School Program. This summer Tammy hosted Carolina from Spain and Isaure from France. She also joined the team as
a Local Representative.

Each spring Tammy looks forward to meeting new teens and learning more about their culture. She explained that the highlight of her summer is seeing joy in the students’ eyes as they experience American culture – either in family life, local events and attractions, or visiting our big cities like New York, Philadelphia, or Washington, DC. A real bonus is that Tammy lives in Hershey where everything smells like chocolate! Her greatest reward is that she still hears from many of the students she has hosted.

Nacel Open Door is grateful to Tammy and all of our host families who welcome our students into their homes and make our international student exchanges work so well!
